Well? I'm a huge fan of drawing. I used to be more into art, but now I still draw when I can. Inline skating also is something I really like doing, though I haven't found a great place to do it yet where I recently moved to.

I really enjoy making people laugh. I'm helplessly silly, and love someone else I can make crazy noises with. I have a good job and enjoy what I do, only I had to move away to a different state to do it. I enjoy games of all varieties.

Nice to meet youall, I am a massage therapist here in the Tidewater area of Virginia, I like to ride, swim, read, hang out with my kids and grand kids, movies, concerts most music jazz, country, classical, gospel, contemporary Christian, festivals, I like to watch an occasional football game but not into every game on. Seriously considering purchase of a boat to live on, I love being on the water and can think of no better way than to live on it.

I have this problem with forming emotional attachments with human beings. Try as i might, i just can't care as much as i'd like to which is strange because in all other areas i am an enormous sap i.e. The Biggest Loser made me cry. I am freakishly empathetic but pity and usually sympathy are difficult to come by and my forgeries when i almost bother are utterly transparent soooo i've stopped trying re: I am never intentionally misleading. The way i treat people is entirely conditional--the more altruistic, loving and "good" signs i read the nicer i am--so on and so forth.

I can either be very subtle or i can hit you like stampeding water buffalo, ha. It depends on my mood.

I like anthropology. astrology, classic literature, greek philosophy/lore, sociology/psychology and biology. indie/classic rock/PUNK CABARET!/hip-hop/spoken word, but i can't stand most musicals. I want to learn more.

I wash my hands and brush my teeth a lot. I smell really fucking good.

I work with kids which is rewarding but at times makes me doubt our future. Usually it is great though. Anybody who works with them and tells you it is always great is either a saint or lying.

If I couldn't work with my hands I don't know what I would do, I doubt that life would be worth living. Without a hammer and a few other basic tools I feel utterly useless.

My name is Chantelle, I was born and raised in Central Florida. I joined the Navy right out of high school. A lot of men say that they don't date military chicks and that's fine, if you just want a friend I'm up for that as well. I normally don't go for military men either but I'm not gonna say that I won't give anyone a chance because everyone deserves a shot. I have 4 siblings, 2 brothers and 2 sisters, I am the oldest. Partying used to be a big part of my life when I was in high school but now that I am in the military it has calmed down a lot. Laid back is definitely my style, some may think that I am too laid back but I like to think that I am easy to get along with, a lot of things don't bother me. Life is too short to sweat the small stuff!

I'm originally from Texas. Moved to Virginia last summer for a job opportunity. I really love the job, but I miss my friends and family back home.

I don't get out much at the moment, but mostly because I still don't know many people in the area that I can do things with. Most of the people I know are from or related to work and are almost all married with kids, and going out on the town by myself is just not fun for me.

This is not to say that I don't like going out however. I enjoy going to bars and trying new beers, going to the gym and playing some basketball, and going to the movies to see whatever cool new blockbuster just came out.

Sorry I ran out of l words I wanted to use up there. I suppose I am a young adult who goes to work to pay the bills but would much rather be reading, drinking coffee, arguing politics, cook something, listening to music, or planting plants; or maybe a bunch of those at once. I think age is a number so age gaps are a myth but maturity gaps are a fact. I want my life outside of work to be relaxed and comfortable even when it's stressful. I have a tendency to name my houseplants. Sometimes I put the same song on repeat for a whole day. I secretly wish I was a poet or a painter mostly because it seems a good reason to drink wine all day and mutter. I have a theory that it's only a lack of thumbs and general malaise that keeps my cat from enslaving me. I suspect my dog liked the cat better then me as well. I'm a hell of a cook, one of my true talents is opening a fridge and making dinner happen. It's a lot like art and it's rather annoying when some plebe attacks one's art which is why I don't do it profesionally. I try and find the complex in the simple, solid blue sky against a tree in full bloom is an amazing colour match, who thought that up eh? I'm looking to be exposed and learn about new things and new ideas constantly. I consistently test as an INFP on a briggs-meyers and have for years, everything but the intoversion is fairly extreme. What does this mean? I have no idea.... that I am utterly without logic and likely to seem impulsive to the untrained eye perhaps, you decide and let me know. I have and love both dogs and cats, it's kind of like having two very strange children who like each other better. My best vacation in years involved mostly sleeping on a beach in the keys alternately swimming and reading. Skiing is a close second only because of the recockuless waits on lifts; it's cold up there damn it.

I'm 20 and single going to college right now at Christopher Newport University in Newport News and am currently a sophomore getting my degree in either sociology or psychology (I have this semester to decide and whatever I don't major in I will minor in). I want to go into counseling for a career. I've always been good at helping people and listening to their thoughts and problem and have a passion for wanting to go somewhere where I can help people so I really think counseling is the place for me.
