Posted By: parent Quality Score: 5 2008-12-09 “My daughters both go to this school and have for the past two years, so we've interacted with the kindergarten, first grade, third grade, and fourth grade teachers. All have been excellent. The teachers we've had have been kind, caring, organized and fun. The PTA does a lot of great things for the school. The environment is extremely family friendly. I love that the kids have two 45-minute PE sessions each week, as well as 45 minutes of music and art. There are a lot of extra-curricular activities: science club, fun Fridays, chorus, battle of the books, student council, and so on. The teachers and staff are wonderful, caring and helpful. My daughter has excelled in reading in all subjects. The teachers go out of their way to make sure that your child understands the homework by working with them one on one if you send in a note. The school has a family atmosphere. The PTa is great. Always a big turnout at the pta meeting or any program. The parents, teachers and staff are willing to help out whenever needed. I received help from a teacher who do not teach my daughter. I would highly recommend this school. We moved last year and the children still miss Bethel Manor greatly. It is a wonderful school with wonderful teachers and a great family atmosphere.
