Venues for musicals, comedies, and mysteries include the Ferguson Center for the Arts, Peninsula Fine Arts Center (affiliated with the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts), and Yoder Barn Heritage Center, along with Mariner’s Museum Courtyard, Newport News Center Fountain Park, Port Warwick-Styron Square, and Victory Landing Park.

Artistic and cultural events to be enjoyed are the Big Art for Big Bare Walls, Artful Giving and Home for the Holidays, Film Fest Month, A Salute to the Tuskegee Airmen, Needlework and Quilting at Endview Plantation, the Battle of Hampton Roads Weekend at the Mariner’s Museum, and the Arts Café with changing programs at the Peninsula Fine Arts Center.
