Newport News Virginia Music

The Newport News Music Festival, the largest music festival in the United States, returns for the third time this year. According to the festival's website, it's the first time in more than 30 years.

The Hampton Roads Metropolitan Statistical Area, as it is officially called, is the 37th largest in the nation. The area includes Newport News, Virginia Beach, Hampton, Norfolk, Richmond and Richmond, as well as Henrico, Loudoun, Fairfax, Prince George's and Suffolk counties.

In addition to the wonderful Yorktown community, we also serve the surrounding Newport News, Virginia Beach, Hampton, Norfolk, Richmond, Fairfax, Prince George's and Suffolk counties.

The wraparound Hampton Roads Beltway, which crosses the harbor via two bridges and a tunnel, connects us to other cities on Hampton Road, while serving the cities of Newport News, Virginia Beach, Hampton, Norfolk, Richmond, Fairfax, Prince George's and Suffolk County. We are home to one of the largest and most diverse public parks in the nation, the Virginia State Park System, which stretches along the north bank of the James River. Newport News is also home to one of - one kind of - attractions, such as world-class Newport Beach International Airport and Newport Island National Wildlife Refuge.

Newport News also serves as home to the Newport News Marine Terminals, located at the eastern end of the city. Other U.S. military facilities are located in neighboring communities, including the now-defunct Fort Monroe, Norfolk Marine Air Station and Virginia Beach Air National Guard Base.

The western end of the city is protected by the Newport News Historic Triangle, a collection of more than 100 historic sites. Many are located along roads leading to Yorktown and Williamsburg, where many of the attractions in the historic triangle are located.

See the new exterior lighting that illuminates the buildings, as well as the renovation of some of the historic buildings in the historic triangle.

Enjoy the music and buy tickets for the best of the night for $10 each or get a special $5 discount on tickets to the concert on April 3, 2008 at 7 p.m. at Main Street Theater.

In the centre of Newport News is the Victory Arch, built to commemorate the First World War.

Newport News has an elaborate transportation network, including a major north-south road that runs US Route 258. Newport News, Virginia, has one of the largest public transportation systems in the United States with an extensive network of buses, trains and taxis.
