Welcome to The Apprentice School at Newport News Shipbuilding, the first of its kind in Virginia and the nation. The Apprentice Schools in Newport News, aims to provide students with a solid education base with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career as a shipbuilder, engineer or engineer - technician.
